Post-Graduation Work Permit: Post-Graduation Work Permit is Government of Canada’s crusade, encouraging students to earn experience while working in Canada, after the successful completion of their studies. It is issued in accordance to the duration of the study program.

For the purpose of obtaining a Work Permit under the PGWPP, the applicant:

  • must have a valid study permit
  • must have evidence of continuous, full time study in Canada for a duration of at least 8 months from a Designated Learning Institution.
  • must have proof of successful completion of program of study.
  • must not have been issued a Post-Graduate Work Permit previously.
